Pandion supports the use of plug-ins. These plug-ins add functionality. At the moment there are only a limited number of plug-ins:

Adding plug-ins is easy because the list is automatically updated when new plug-ins appear. Choose Tools, Plug-ins. If you have not yet installed plug-ins, you will see an empty window. Press the button More Plug-ins. You can see the plug-ins mentioned above. Press the button Install to install the required plug-in.

Emoticons are faces that can express feelings in a text, so that the message is made clear. Well-known emoticons are :-) , ;-) and :-( . But there are many other emoticons. Pandion turns the text-emoticons into images to clarify their meaning.

You can easily add emoticons into a conversation by pressing the button Emoticons. Choose the preferred emoticon from the list. That emoticon will be added to your message.

You can also type the emoticon as text. If you type :-) it will be automatically converted into a smiling face.

Pandion supports Emoticon Styles. These are bundles of emoticons that you can use. This way you can add many different emoticons to Pandion. Press the Emoticons button and then press the ... box (lower right). You then see a list of installed emoticon styles.

Press the button More Emoticons.... You then see a list of emoticon styles that are available for you to install. Press the button Install next to the preferred emoticon style to download and install the emoticons. Then you can use the emoticon style.
